McHugh is the defending NCAA champion in the 100 breast and Marchand is the defending NCAA champion in the 200 breast.
Impressive, and good news for France; Ndoye Brouard/Marchand/Wattel/Gastaldello is elite, and the MM is probably France’s only realistic relay medal hope so I suspect they’ll go all-in trying to get Marchand to swim it.
They might, but even if he goes 58 they still don’t have a realistic shot. He is the best all around swimmer in the world at the moment, but SCY and LCM are different sports
Leon is the fastest sprinter in history. Lol that doesn’t make sense at all.
Ok no. He could be after this meet but Caeleb still is now. He has a faster 50 free, 100 free, 100 fly, and 100 breast. Also, tho we don’t have relay splits for him in most, I remind you he took his 100 breast out 23.42 and his 100 fly out 19.99.
I think they were referring specifically to this race.
There were more people who broke into this list.
Indiana – Van Mathias 22.53
Bama – Maas 22.39
You forgot Derek Maas who also swam 22.39 in the 200 medley relay! Unbelievable
If you ain’t first, you’re last.
Whats the fastest 100 breast relay split? Does Leon have a chance at going 48 friday night?
47.99? I mean the guy could go a 1:45 in the 200 breast. Dressel is going to have to take another “break”
“Dressel WHHAAATTTT HAPPPPEEEENNNNEEEDDDDDDD”
Nice name what
Kevin cordes split 49.5 from 2014 I believe
Maas swam 22:39 as well!
What happened to CRIMINAL CROOKS!!! I thought Tenessee was the favorite. New sherif in town!
Not a white dude in the comments calling a young black man a criminal for adding a little bit of time…
Bro what?
