A Picture of America’s Newest National High School Record Holder

A picture is worth a thousand words. Bolles Sharks coach Jason Calanog, the man directly responsible for most of the training of Clay High School senior Caeleb Dressel, tweeted the above picture of Dressel after breaking a pair of National High School Records on Saturday Night in the FSPA Invite.

OK… I change my mind.

I think he should go pro and forget NCAA, he seems to be in that special group of extremely few and talented swimmers.

A form of race pace training for sure. Why would a sprinter do anything else?

Caeleb is a unique talent in which he is slowly harnessing. He comes from a great family which taught him his humbleness and fearless attitude. He trains with a great group of kids in the Late night group with Bolles, but also trains with his Clay High Blue Devils.

A special shout out to my mentor and friend, Sergio Lopez Miro, because he has always believed in me from Day 1. He has mentored me to become a coach that understands the word “Believe” but also let me learn to sharpen my skills on my own with the Late Night group and with the Bolles Sharks as a TEAM.
