Feel bad for Shaine Casas. He has the speed and talent, but just doesnt put it together at the right time. Hope he can get on the Team in 2024.

Rose has a really interesting stroke; Phelpsian butterfly with respect to kick/pull coordination, pressing the chest/driving from the hips, and the general fluidity of the transition, but with more explosiveness/fast twitch activation characteristic of a sprinter. Dropping time like this from semis to finals is a great sign too. This guy is looking really great heading into worlds as first seed for team USA. I have him in medal contention. And Heilman with a great finish and back-half pacing; great sign to see that kind of composure especially at his age. Even though Casas and Dressel are out in this event, I think we’re in good hands.

Explain how he is a fraud

Can’t expect Andrew to explain much. He just has a deep hatred for anything related to Cal men’s swimming. Maybe women’s swimming? Maybe just California as a state in general?

Heilman out-touches Rose in a way that’s similar or different from how Nesty is ‘untrustworthy’ and ‘hiding things’? If this is you only midway through nationals, I can’t wait to see what kind of wild takes you progress towards going forward

You mean the first day where they had two of the top 4 men and the second place finisher for the women in the 100 free? That first day?

I think he’s talking about the Gabe Jett and Trenton “Steinway” Julian disasterclass in their respective events
