CHICAGO (Nov. 2, 2023)— In its final meet of 2023 at Flames Natatorium, the UIC swimming and diving team dominated from start to finish en route to victories on both the men’s and women’s side against Davenport Thursday night.

The men’s team earned a 211-84 win, while the women’s team defeated the Panthers 199-97.

COMMENT FROM HEAD COACH ASHLEY DELL
“Tonight was a great night in the pool. It was awesome to see the team finish off our fall dual meet season so strong. I’m pretty sure every swimmer had at least one season-best time and a few of our student-athletes even recorded lifetime-bests. We’re excited for the next 10 days of training and preparing for the mid-season invite in mid-November at IUPUI.”

COMMENT FROM ASSOCIATE HEAD COACH/HEAD DIVING COACH SUSAN BROMBERG
“It was good to see the divers compete and attempt to try some new dives. Seeing the changes that are being made at practice, I have enjoyed seeing them begin to develop new and better habits whenever they step onto the diving board.”
