3 more women were confirmed for the Olympic team tonight, including Erika Connolly, Anna Peplowski, and Abbey Weitzeil. Hear what they have to say about managing the stress of the week and ultimately wound up heading to Paris.
Abbey showing lots of poise here. To me, she and Murph seem like frontrunners for USA’s captains this summer, and I’ll be excited to see who else joins that lineup.
Manuel, Dressel, maybe Ledecky
idk why you’re being downvoted. This seem obvious

Wonder how MA feels about god’s plan
I’m guessing he is ok with it if it’s God’s plan.
Can we chill with the dunking on religion stuff? Kinda tacky. Who cares if they invoke God and such.
I was expecting more from Abbey Weitzeil in the women’s 100 meter freestyle at the 2024 USA Swimming Olympic Team Trials.
Abbey was expecting more, too. She said her training had been going well but just hasn’t translated yet in the meet.
One swim in the heats of the women’s 4 x 100 /200 meter freestyle relay and done. The life of a relay only swimmer.
why aren’t you naming the coaches on swim swam? They’ve been picked
They will tonight at the ceremony.
For their own peace of mind, I hope that a number of the top American swimmers (and coaches) have learned NOT to read the comments (and also the up/down votes) on this site.
Athletes could care less what any of us think.
genuine question: why are soooo many athletes so religious??
I like to point skyward and thank the big man/woman upstairs after a satisfying performance of eating a good dinner. HIS will be done.
you’re probably in the 20s or 30s. And think “I’m who I am. No one can change that. I am beautiful in every single way”. That’s why
because 85% of the people on the entire planet are religious
Not even 40%
christianity, islam, and hinduism account for over 5.5 billion people alone bro 💀
You’re a swimmer? Let me tell you one thing
As soon as one was born, one immediately has a body, right? And this body has two arms, two legs and a billion cells inside and a brain with incredible intelligence that has been given to you.
Someone has done something so that a person has a body with two arms and two legs and a very wonderful brain.
Nothing is yours. What did you do to earn your breath? Did you work hard one day to create your breath? Nothing about your hair or teeth is yours. If it’s your hair, whatever color you want it to be, it has to be that color, can you do that? Ok you… Read more »
Literally, what?
People are religious for that reason I wrote above, ok swimmer
But… you didn’t write a reason you just yapped about how pretty much, i’m not mine?
A Creator has given all you have to you.
Have u seen Messi playing. What does he usually do after a goal. Praise God who has given him those talents
Wtaf
You clearly don’t understand
Ah, yes comrade.
I wonder how old you believe the universe is
Can you do an 800 to cool down.
Life is hard, sports are brutal, and being a swimmer myself, swimming can be hopeless and heartbreaking at times. My Lord and savior Jesus Christ has given me hope in hopeless times. Disappointing people and swimming slow isn’t the end of the story. God’s love is unconditional when everyone else’s depends on how good/bad I perform. There is rest, peace, and hope when your identity isn’t based on performance but the perfect life of Jesus.
Good interview ladies, especially Erika.
