FLUID MECHANICS PARTNERS WITH A3 PERFORMANCE AND D&J SPORTS TO LAUNCH FM AVATAR PRODUCT LINE

The swimming community will now have access to a full line of products featuring the popular FM Avatar animated swimmers in action.

A3 Performance and D&J Sports have partnered with Fluid Mechanics to launch an exclusive selection of swimwear, bags and accessories featuring FM Avatars throughout the product line.

“We are thrilled to partner with Fluid Mechanics and D&J Sports to create a unique line of quality products for both swimmers and swimming fans of all ages,” said Dan Meinholz, Founder of A3 Performance.

FM Avatars are animated swimmers created by Fluid Mechanics to provide teaching opportunities to the swimming community.  Prior to this partnership, FM Avatars have only been accessible digitally.

“Our mission has always been to leave a positive impact on the sport of swimming at every level, from learn to swim through Olympic gold medalists,” said John B. Waldman, founder of Fluid Mechanics.  “FM Avatars bring swimming technique concepts to life, providing visual learning opportunities to our entire community.”

Fluid Mechanics, an aquatic consulting company based in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, created the first FM Avatar in 1989 to visually demonstrate stroke mechanics to the swimming community.  Since then, FM has animated every stroke, turn, start and finish featuring FM Avatars.

A3 Performance was founded in 2004 and quickly became known for developing some of the top swimming goggles and training equipment in the sport of swimming.  Today, A3 Performance is proud to be an innovative leader in competitive swimming, offering a full line of competitive swimwear designed to enhance athletic performance.

D&J Sports was founded in 1992 by Don Kaye in order to successfully service the needs of individual families as well as swim teams, clubs and schools.  Today, D&J services over 7,000 swim teams across Texas, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania.

A3 Performance has been a SwimSwam partner since 2013.
