Omaha’s Morgan Stepp was named The Summit League’s Women’s Swimmer of the Week for her performance Dec. 10-16.

Stepp earns her first career Swimmer of the Week award after recording three individual first-place finishes to help the Mavericks defeat league foe South Dakota, 175-123. The Parker, Colo., native won the 500 free (5:12.97), 1,000 free (10:40.18) and 200 IM (2:10.38) in the dual against the Coyotes. Her 1,000 free time ranks 10th in the league. In a relay dual vs. Nebraska, she was a part of the winning 200 medley (1:55.24) and 300 medley (3:04.00) relay teams.
