For head women’s coach  Steve Bultman’s  team, it will be the first action since overpowering Rice at the Rec on Dec. 20, while head men’s coach Jay Holmes’ squad will be seeing its first action since the Art Adamson Invitational in late November. Friday’s dual will also be the Aggie men’s final home competition of 2013-14 and 10 seniors will be recognized prior to the meet.

Georgia will bring a pair of top 10 teams to the Rec with the women’s squad at No. 4 and the men’s team at No. 10. For the Aggies, the women’s squad is ranked No. 2 nationally while the men’s team is receiving votes in the CSCAA dual meet rankings but are just outside the top 25.

The seniors being recognized prior to Friday’s meet are: Jack Burley (College Station, Texas), Omar Enriquez (San Andreas Tuxtla, Mexico), Simon Frank (Stockholm, Sweden), Henrik Lindau (Karlskrona, Sweden), Bryan Michaels (Shoreline, Wash.), Antonio Page-Kahn (Albuquerque, N.M.), Adam Ruiz (Lubbock, Texas), Paul-Marc Schweitzer (Boersch, France), Kyle Troskot (Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada) and Donnie Walker (San Antonio, Texas).

In addition to battling the defending SEC and NCAA team champion Bulldogs on Friday, the women’s squad will face old Southwest Conference rival SMU in a 1 p.m. dual meet on Saturday at the Rec.

Admission to all of the Aggies’ home meets is free, and a live video stream and live results will be available at AggieAthletics.com.

Bobo There are two top level French women, Adeline Martin (IM, breaststroke) & Armony Dumur (Fly), at DII University of Bridgeport.

OK. I didn’t know.
Adeline Martin has finished third at the long course French nationals last year in the 200 IM and in the 400 IM.
Armony Dumur has finished 7th in the 50 fly.

A Frenchman at Texas A&M?
Paul-Marc Schweitzer!
And he’s a senior?
I had completely missed him during his first three years there.
Seriously, I have never heard of him.
Never seen his name at the French nationals. But the NCAA championships and the French nationals are often at the same period so it’s perhaps the reason.
I see on his bio he has a decent 200 free record and the second fastest 500 free in program’s history.
I also see that his dream date would be Natalie Portman. Good choice! 🙂

Perhaps there are in NCAA many other French swimmers I don’t know.

I’d put Clement Lefert at about the same level of college-swimming-fame as Rouault.

Correct me if I’m wrong but Lefert has never won an individual title in NCAA.
Rouault has won several individual titles in the 500 free and the 1650 free.

What’s up with Kalisz? Is he able to compete or is he still suspended?
