Hashika Ramchandra, Akash Mani Ki World Championship Me Performance

India ke Hashika Ramchandra and Akash Mani Budapest me World Aquatics Swimming World Championships (25m) 2024 me apne-apne event me heat se aage badhne me fail rahe.

10-15 December tak hone wali World Short Course Swimming Championships me keval 2 Indian swimmers ne participate kiya.

Tuesday ko 16 saal ki Hashika Ramchandra women’s 400m freestyle heat me 41 swimmers ke beech 39th place par rahi, jisme keval top 8 hi finals ke liye qualify kar paai. Unhone 4:30.30 ka time liya, jo iss saal ki start me banaye gaye unke national record 4:24.70 se kaafi kam hai.

Halanki, unka personal best performance unhe heat me keval 4 place upar chadhne ke liye allow karta, kyunki top 8 me 4:02.03 ka cutoff tha.

Baad me Thursday ko, Hashika Ramchandra 200m butterfly me 2:25.88 ke time ke saath 31 me se 30th place par rahi, jisme keval top 8 hi finals me pahoch paaye. National record 2:18.66 hai, jabki 8th swimmer Australia ki Bella Grant – ne Budapest me 2:05.53 ka time liya.

Iss beech, Akash Mani ne Tuesday ko men’s 100m backstroke me apna campaign start kiya, jahan wah 54.05 ke time ke saath heat me 54 me se 45th place par rahe. 53.77 ka national record Srihari Nataraj ka hai, jinhone 3 saal pahle benchmark set kiya tha. Keval top 16 hi 50.81 ke cutoff ke saath semifinals ke liye qualify kar paaye.

Thursday ko Akash Mani 50m backstroke me 51 swimmers ke beech 46th place par rahe aur aage badhne me fail rahe. Halanki, 17 saal ki Indian ne 24.87 ka time nikalkar new national record set kiya.
