The College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has released their Team Scholar All-America awards for the 2013 fall semester in Division III. The award goes out to teams that hold a 3.0 team GPA or higher for that semester.
Whitworth University had just enough to beat out Emory & Henry for the highest women’s team GPA. Whitworth held a collective 3.69 to E&H’s 3.66. On the men’s side, Principia College posted the highest mark at 3.57, holding onto the top spot they also claimed last spring. Pomona-Pitzer and Swarthmore tied for second.
Pomona-Pitzer was also the only school to rank top-5 in both men’s and women’s team GPAs. They were tied for third for the women in addition to their runner-up tie on the men’s side.
