The Pac-12 Conference has named its 2014 All-Academic teams for both men and women. Athletes are up for selection by holding a GPA of 3.0 or higher and being a “significant contributor” on their respective team.
For the women, Stanford and Washington State lead with 4 first-team selections each. On the men’s side, Stanford has 8 first team All-Conference members, 5 more than any other team.
You can find the full press releases below, which include the second teams and the Honorable Mention lists.

How can you be a Junior and be undeclared still? Isn’t it a rule that you have to have X amount of credits/hours to a degree? Odd
puzzled – every college makes its own rules on declaring a major.
really impressed by Ryan Arata; had to look up stanford’s grading policy to see if that was a real GPA (they do 4.33 for A+, wish that was true at my school…)
There are no freshman…I’m assuming it’s because they’ve only taken one semester of classes?
That’s correct, typically freshmen aren’t considered for academic-type awards since they only have one semester determining their GPA.
