Cullen Jones to receive honorary degree from Amherst in May

U.S. Olympian Cullen Jones will be honored at Amherst College’s commencement ceremony on May 25, receiving an honorary degree from the liberal arts school.

Jones is the only professional athlete among the 7 being honored. He joins New York Times commentator David Brooks, and well-known baseball statistician and “sabermetrics” man Nate Silver among others.

The full list of honorary degree recipients can be found here. The ceremony will take place on Sunday, May 25 at 10 AM.
