FAST community rallying around 11-year-old Carter Ciemania after head injury

In April, 11-year-old Carter Ciemania was involved in an accident that left him with a traumatic head injury. Ciemania, a member of the Fairmont Area Swim Team, is still in and out of hospitals dealing with the fallout from the injury, but his swimming community has come together along with Carter’s family and friends to support Carter and his family.

Carter’s father Ian put together the video above to thank everyone involved in the outpouring of support, and Carter’s FAST community sent the video to us to share. Ian says he appreciates everyone who has kept Carter in their prayers since the accident.

The family appears to be giving some updates on the Mushin Do Karate Facebook page here, if you would like to keep tabs on Carter’s progress or offer words of support.
