With less than two weeks to go before the start of the 2014 Charlotte UltraSwim Grand Prix, running from May 15th-18th, there are still tickets available to see Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte race, among many other Olympians.
Though there have been few confirmations about who will be at this meet, the host SwimMAC Carolina pro group alone (Lochte, Tyler Clary, Arianna Vanderpool-Wallace and Micah Lawrence) is worth the price of admission alone, and if this meet comes out anything like Mesa did, expect many, many more Olympians to participate.
The Mesa meet sold out in a flash after Phelps announced his comeback, but there are still tickets to see him in Charlotte. The only tickets that are sold out so far are general admission seats for Saturday finals (there’s still ‘Gold Medal’ premium seats available for that session).
This means that the Phelps session, which will be Friday prelims and Friday finals, are still up for sale for $15/session (prelims) or $20/session (finals).
