11th Annual Lake Travis Relay Adds First Responder Category

The American Swimming Association, LLC is pleased to announce that a First Responder category has been added to the 11th Annual Lake Travis Relay. The First Responder Category includes Law Enforcement (Police, Sheriff Department, FBI, etc.) Firefighter, EMT, Military, Lifeguard, and Open First Responder (any ! combination of First Responders) divisions. The event also includes Male, Female, and Mixed (3 men and 3 women) categories each with the following aggregate age divi- sions: 72-107, 108-239, 240-299, and 300+.

The Lake Travis Relay is a 6-person, 12-mile open water swimming race. A limited number of entrants will swim the course solo. It has been dubbed one of Austin’s Top 10 Recreational Events, and one of the top 50 Open Water Races in the U.S.A. and top 100 Open Water Races in the world.
