Globosat TV in Brazil inks FINA Partnership

FINA is pleased to announce the partnership with TV network Globosat for the broadcasting rights in the Brazilian territory from 2015 to 2022. This agreement comprises the following FINA competitions:

– FINA World Championships in 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2021
– FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) in 2016, 2018, 2020 and 2022
– FINA Diving World Cup in 2018, 2020 and 2022
– FINA Synchronised Swimming World Cup in 2018 and 2022

“Brazil is a very solid FINA partner and its importance in the Aquatic world is reinforced by this partnership. Rio de Janeiro will stage in 2016 the Olympic Games and the added-value our Aquatic disciplines are bringing to the programme of the Games will create a renovated dynamic of our Sport in this immense country”, considered FINA President Dr. Julio C. Maglione. “This is why FINA highly considers and values this agreement with Globosat, a highly respected media network in Brazil”, concluded Dr. Maglione.
