London Roar stacked their top relay, going for the win, and it paid off. The Roar swam the top time in the ISL this year, although, Cate Campbell has already raced a lot today, and the Skins races are now rapidly approaching. On the Roar’s B relay, they didn’t exactly go with their A team, especially considering breaststroker Adam Peaty went 2nd, splitting 50.73.
I wonder if Cate Campbell split faster than Peaty lol
She did not.
But…it was close.
It was an interesting choice with Graham and Knox still sitting on the sidelines.
is there a video of the race?

Thanks, Braden
Not a bad split for a pure breaststroker
So bizarre though that his 100 breast time could be like 54-55 short course meters
Yeah now that you put it in comparison, only 5 seconds difference between his 100free and 100 breast is crazy
…it’s pretty bad lol
His team went 3:22.8, so Peaty’s split was right in line with the rest of the team.
If you take away the part that it was a mixed relay
Didn’t notice that. I will have to downvote myself.
It is pretty bad, considering Ippei Watanabe (who is a 200 guy) swam 49.80 in LCM from a flat start.
