Olympic champion and World Record holder Adam Peaty hit the dance floor on Saturday on Britain’s Strictly Come Dancing show.
Peaty was paired with professional dancer Katya Jones and together they tied for the second-highest scoring team of the night, the first being television presenter AJ Odudu who earned 34 points.
Jones, with partner Joe McFadden, was the season 15 winner of Strictly Come Dancing.
Jones’ Strictly Come Dancing Results:
- Season 14 – Ed Balls, 6th place
- Season 15 – Joe McFadden, 1st place
- Season 16 – Seann Walsh, 11th place
- Season 17 – Mike Bushell, 8th place
- Seaosn 18 – Nicola Adams, 10th place
The hip-driven cha-cha choreography was done to Maneskin’s song “Beggin'” and earned them a score of 30 out of a maximum 40 points.

The duo received high praise from the judges: “I was glued to every inch of movement darling, you couldn’t get my eyes off it I’m afraid,” judge Craig Revel Horwood said. “Fantastic, really masculine, strong, going for gold.”
“It was effortless and it moved in every direction and the back part of the body was oozing and a beautiful shape on the New Yorker chemistry,” said another judge, Shirley Ballas.
“Never thought I’d be having this much fun being completely out of my comfort zone,” Peaty shared on social media on Friday. “The hard work is done, let’s enjoy it @katyajones.”
His success and positive review from the judges so far indicate that he most likely won’t get the early exit he needs to be back in Italy in time for the International Swimming League playoffs for London Roar.
London Roar finished 2nd in Match 9, ranking them 4th going into the playoffs. The regular season concluded with Match 10 on Sunday and then there will be a match between the bottom four teams with the top two advancing to the final.
he looks fitter than ever. I bet he can spare a few days to jump into the water to save the roar and break the WR straight away
Lol idk how easy you think it is to break the WR but if the final is in UK that would certainly be helpful if he doesn’t need to dance at that timeslot
Roars doing fine without him.
Teams seem better without gold medalists.
How do we vote to get him off the show? 🙊
Not good news to London Roar fans.
Tom & Amy just tested positive so one couple less to beat .
I wonder what his gf thinks about this video and the pics haha
The guy dancers gave to lift baby eleohants . This girl is like 42 kgms.
90 lbs and 5’6”? I doubt that
Adam’s got a dumpy.
I call shenanigans. Must be CGI. Breaststrokers are that that coordinated!
& lipsyncing while dancing, lol. That said, not the most involving choreography. But he has time to learn more & get better.
Those hips are naughty
