Egypt’s Farida Osman became the first from their team to make it into a final this week. Not only did she make it into the final, she broke the previous African Record, swimming a time of 26.12. Two years ago, Osman was the Junior World Champion in this event with a time of 26.69.

It’s nice to see some good news for a change about Egypt. They are experiencing some very tough times right now.

It’s also encouraging to see these times and records from emerging swimming nations. Tunisia has Mellouli, Zimbabwe with Kirsty, Kenya has Dunford and now Egypt has a world class swimmer as well with Farida.

Isnt she going to CAL?

CAL’s depth in back in unfathomable, and very scary in fly and free.

All they need is breast specialist to ensure total absolute dominance.
