2024 Speedo Summer Championships

We’re two short days away from the start of action at the 2024 Speedo Summer Championships in Irvine, California. This year, USA Swimming has combined its normally separated Summer Nationals and Junior Nationals into one championship meet. For the last Olympic cycle, there were two 2021 Speedo Summer Championships, divided into East and West sites.

The 2024 Speedo Summer Championships will be a team-scored meet, with “A” through “D” Finals in each individual event, and a relay at the conclusion of each evening’s session. 32 swimmers will advance to finals, with the “C” and “D” Finals being limited to the top 18-and-under athletes who do not qualify for the “A” or “B” Finals. If a “C” or “D” Final cannot be filled with 18-and-under athletes, it will be opened to the next fastest 19-over athletes that have not qualified for the “A” or “B” Final.

All sessions of the meet are scheduled to be live-streamed on the USA Swimming Network. To explore the full USA Swimming Network catalog, download the app on your iPhone and iPad, or any Android phone and tablet. To watch on the big screen, search for USA Swimming with any of your connected TV devices (Roku, Apple TV, FireTV, and more).
