Allie Piccirillo Adds Verbal Commitment to Florida’s Class of 2023

Allie Piccirillo, a junior at Notre Dame Academy in Park Hills, Kentucky, has announced her verbal commitment to the University of Florida’s class of 2023. Also verbally committed to the Gators for 2019-20 are Floridians Kathleen Golding and Talia Bates.

Piccirillo is a versatile athlete who excels in IM and fly and has potential in the longer range of freestyle races, as well. She participated in the 2017 USA Swimming National Select Camp and is a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American. During her junior season at Notre Dame Academy, Piccirillo contributed to the Panda’ third-place team finish at the 2018 Kentucky High School Athletic Association Swimming & Diving Championships by finishing 6th in the 100 fly and 7th in the 200 IM; she also anchored the 5th-place 200 free relay and the 2nd-place 400 free relay.

Piccirillo swims club for Northern KY Clippers. After notching lifetime-bests in the 100 fly and 200 IM during high school season, she went PBs in the 100/200/1000 free, 200 fly and 400 IM at 2018 NCSA Spring Championship. There, her top finishes were in the 1000 free (9th) and the 200 fly (11th). She also finaled in the 400 IM and 500 free.
