Anna Peplowski: Watch Out World, This Amazing Young Talent Is On A Mission

Courtesy of P2Life, a SwimSwam partner since 2013.

Anna Peplowski, relatively unknown two years ago, has become a name on everyone’s lips as a star in the making and one to watch in the upcoming Olympic Trials.

If you don’t know her, Anna is always easy to spot—that warm electric smile, forever present!

Like Katharine Berkoff, almost every time Anna has swum this year, she has been recording PB after PB after PB. Although gifted in the backstroke, Anna has turned her focus to the middle-distance freestyles, especially the 200 where she recorded one of the fastest times in NCAA history at the recent 2024 Championships. Here is a look at just two of her amazing improvements from 2023 to 2024 at those NCAA Champs: 100 free 48.46 to 47.18; 200 free 1:42.86 to 1:40.97.

This NCAA success follows on the heels of her surprise inclusion in the 2023 USA World Games Team for her 200 free.

This year she has already recorded another PB in the 200 LCM with the second fastest time in the USA so far this year, behind only the great Katie Ledecky.

So what is Anna doing right to have this steady stream of PBs. Quite literally EVERYTHING! Anna is wise beyond her years, ticking off ALL the boxes required for international success. At Indiana, she trains at a fantastic facility with a legendary coach Ray Looze. She is surrounded by many of the best swimmers in history, including Lilly King who she says has taught her so much. She has a very smooth, powerful and efficient stroke, an excellent power-to-weight ratio, swims smart, is dedicated, works exceptionally hard and loves to win. Last, but not least, last October she did her research and made a change to her nutritional program, adding P2Life Nutritional Supplements to her daily dietary regime.

P2LIFE NUTRITION AN IMPORTANT INGREDIENT FOR ANY SWIMMERS SUCCESS

Tim Shead, founder of P2Life Nutritional recalls how impressed he was with Anna when they first met. Importantly, she did her own research and wanted to try 3 P2Life products. Tim laments “Sadly many swimmers overlook the importance of nutrition, yet here is Anna not just recognizing their importance, but doing her own research. It is no surprise she has continued to make such dramatic improvements.” Tim says taking P2Life Nutriboost, Powerboost, Enduroboost Adaptogens and Women’s MultVitamins will help ensure Anna elevates to and stays at maximum health leading up to and throughout the trials, allowing Anna to swim at peak performance levels- securing still more PBs – and hopefully a spot on the USA Olympic Team.
