Olympic Champion Anthony Ervin is stressed. He’s taking the 2014 Short Course World Championships off to drill-down on his book, tentatively titled, Chasing the Water Dragon.
Ervin was at the 2014 Golden Goggles last Monday, and he reports that he’s making good ground on his book, a very personal account of his life. While Ervin’s stressed because of the responsibility of delivering the narrative, he’s keeping it in perspective. He feels a break from training is a positive thing, all a part of his plan for a successful run at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. Expect to see him back in action in 2015 on the Arena Grand Prix series.
Ervin’s highly anticipated memoir is expected to hit book shelves in the spring of 2016.
