arena & Fendi Collaborate On Limited-Edition Luxury Swimming Kit

If you’ve never envisioned the pool deck as a modeling catwalk you may need to conjure up that image after the release of a new aquatic haute couture collection.

Longtime-loved international swimming gear and suit brand arena teamed up with Italian luxury fashion house Fendi to unveil a limited edition swimming kit. The cap and goggles were created with each brand’s unique know-how and the set simply epitomizes swimming in style.

The goggles, manufactured by expert outfit Thélios, feature Fendi’s iconic FF logo affixed to the specialized polycarbonate mirrored lenses. An exclusive gasket design aims to adapt to any face and eye shape, complete with a self-adjusting nose bridge and split silicone strap.

A slick goggle pouch is another component of the collaboration, with the Fendi logo present once again with a practical carabiner hook for easy transport.

The swim cap is constructed of lycra and again features the FF logo for the ultimate ‘I’m Too Sexy for the Water’ showpiece.

The collection originally was revealed last June during Fendi’s Men’s Spring/Summer 2022 fashion show but the exclusive items will be on sale this month for a limited time in a selection of Fendi boutiques and at selected opticians around the world.

Imagine seeing someone racing with these. I’d be so transfixed I’d get DQ’ed.

Imagine someone actually spending money on these. I found no pricing anywhere, but whatever they’ll charge, $50, $100, $150 (more?) is a ridiculous amount. Those are still goggles, with straps that will break, lenses that will scratch, anti-fog that will fade. What kind of flex is anyone going for rocking these?

Excuse me, I am heading over to the pool. I hope I didn’t lose either pair of my $4 Swedish goggles that I bought in 2018.
