The Arizona State (ASU) Sun Devils have released their 2019-20 meet schedule, adding more competitive dual meets to their season line-up. Among the new dual meets, the Sun Devils are scheduled to compete against the #2 men and #5 women of the Texas Longhorns.
Looking at the total dual meets ASU will contest, both the men and women have added more meets to their line-ups. The women have bumped up from 9 to 10 meets while the men now have 8 meets instead of 6 from the 2018-19 season.
ASU will host 5 dual meets this season, along with 2 additional women’s dual meets. Here’s a look at what the ASU Sun Devils have coming up this season.

Along with Texas, ASU will also compete against Big Ten’s Northwestern along with the Kansas women. Last season, the Sun Devils both had meets against Florida State while the women had additional meets against Oregon State and Washington State. This season, the Sun Devil women will only have two women-only duals, Kansas and UCLA.
The month of January for the Sun Devils will be tough, with the men scheduled for 5 meets and the women 6 meets. Among the competitive dual meets, ASU is expected to race Northwestern, Kansas (women), Stanford, Cal, Texas, and Arizona.
Last season, with both the men and women winning two dual meets a piece. The women won against Oregon State and Washington State and will not race them this season. The men had won against Florida State, who also won’t compete against ASU, and in-state rival Arizona.
Both the ASU men and women finished 4th at the 2019 Pac-12s while the women (20th) and men (21st) finished in the top-25 teams at the 2019 NCAA Championships.
