LITTLE ROCK – Head coach Amy Burgess has announced the UALR swimming & diving team’s schedule for the upcoming 2014-15 season. The schedule features 13 total meets, including three at the Donaghey Aquatic Center.
“We are excited to face new competition this season, as well as continue some yearly rivals,” said Burgess. “We are pleased to welcome Evansville to Little Rock and begin what I hope is an annual meeting. Seeing more of our Missouri Valley competition in-season is going to help prepare us for the Championships. We are a young team and looking forward to new energy and continued development.”
The Trojans open their 2014-15 season with dual meets against Vanderbilt, San Diego State and Campbell University in Nashville, Tennessee, Oct. 10-11. UALR’s dual meet with Vanderbilt will mark the fourth straight season the Trojans and Commodores have gone head-to-head. The Trojans go to St. Louis for a dual meet with the Billikens Oct. 17-18 before competing in the Hendrix Classic in Conway Nov. 1.
UALR has two more meets in the month of November. First, the team takes on Evansville in a dual meet at the Donaghey Aquatic Center on Nov. 8. Next, the Trojans travel to Springfield, Missouri, for the Drury Invitational, a two-day meet starting Nov. 21.
The Trojans welcome teams to Little Rock for the UALR Christmas Invitational Dec. 4-6 in what will be the team’s final meet of the fall semester. UALR will take its annual winter trip to Florida for the St. Petersburg Invitational Jan. 3.
UALR has dual meets at Southern Illinois (Jan. 17) – whose facility will host the Missouri Valley Championship just a month later – and Ouachita Baptist (Jan. 24) before closing the regular season with a dual meet at home against Henderson State on Jan. 31.
The Trojans will compete in the Missouri Valley Championship in Carbondale, Illinois, Feb. 18-21.

i’m a swimmer who attended ualr from 94-97..I would like to use the facility just for training and conditioning, i would i go about doing so.
