Arkansas cruised to victories against Houston and Vanderbilt in a 2 day dual meet. The Razorbacks took 11 events, while Houston won 6, and Vanderbilt won 1.

Vanderbilt’s lone win came in the 100 fly, where Breanna Sapienza went 55.32 to beat out Olivia Weekley by .32 seconds. Sapienza’s season best in the 100 fly is 53.76.

Zarena Brown put up a trio of wins in the 100, 200, and 500 free, posting times of 51.41, 1:50.49, and 4:56.54. That 100 time is her fastest dual meet performance this season, and is also less than 2 seconds off her overall season best of 49.59, which is the 2nd fastest time in the AAC this season. Her 200 time was her 2nd fastest dual meet time of the season, and her overall season best time of 1:44.89 is also 2nd in the AAC. Brown’s 500 was also her 2nd fastest dual meet time this season, but was still 12 seconds off her overall season best of 4:44.13, which is the fastest time in the AAC this season.

Houston’s Peyton Kondis won the 100 breast (1:03.34) over Arkansas’ Madison Strathman (1:03.87), slightly outsplitting her on both 50s. Her time was her fastest dual meet time this season by over a second, beating her previous best of 1:04.63, set in October versus SMU. Kondis’ overall best time this season of 1:00.66 is the fastest time in the AAC by nearly a second.

Houston won the 400 medley relay by .05 seconds over Arkansas, 3:45.24 to 3:45.29. Houston’s biggest advantage over Arkansas came on the anchor leg, where Zarena Brown outsplit Annah Carney 50.41 to 51.10. Houston’s time sits just over 5 seconds off their season best time of 3:39.94, which leads the AAC. Arkansas’ time also sits just over 5 seconds off thier season best of 3:40.26, which is 11th in the SEC.

Arkansas won the 400 free relay with a time of 3:26.89, which is just 2.23 seconds slower than their season best of 3:24.66.

Chloe Hannam of Arkansas took the 200 back by 4 and a half seconds over Eleanna Koutsouveli (Houston), 1:59.34 to 2:03.72. Hannam’s season best time is 1:55.08, which ranks 12th in the SEC, which is one of Arkansas’ highest rankings.
