WEST POINT, N.Y. – Behind 14 event victories, the Army West Point men’s swimming and diving team closed out its regular season with a 218.5-78.5 win against Boston University on Senior Day at Crandall Pool on Saturday.

Daniel Alaimo and Kevin Doo were Army’s top individual finishers, each claiming a pair of event victories.

Whitney ChangSerica Hallstead and Mandolin Nguyen each won a pair of individual events opposite the Terriers. Chang and Nguyen also helped the Black Knights win the opening relay at the meet.

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Boston University men’s swimming & diving team closed out the regular season by taking a 218.5-78.5 defeat against Army on Saturday afternoon at Crandall Pool.

Tommy Hagerty and Sarsen Whatmore accounted for BU’s individual wins on the day, as Hagerty took the 1000 free (9:26.36) and Whatmore won the 500 free (4:34.98). Whatmore also tied for second in the 200 free (1:40.46), Jack Carignan touched the wall second in the 100 back (52.41), and Stuart Vickery (1:52.93) nabbed a second-place finish in the 200 back.

Select members of the Terriers will compete at the Boston Winter Open, which will take place Feb. 7-8 at Competition Pool.

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Visiting Army for its final dual meet of the regular season, the Boston University women’s swimming & diving team could not end on a high note as it fell to the Black Knights, 177-122, Saturday afternoon at Crandall Pool.

Sydney Lee won the 200 free (1:53.03) for the second straight week before clocking another first-place finish in the 500 free (5:05.34). Lee also had a second-place finish in the 100 free (52.78) and anchored the 400 free relay team to victory in the final event of the day.

Joanna McNulty continued her recent tear, winning the 1000 free (10:33.69), while Kara Lydzinski picked up an individual win in the 50 free (24.00).

Select members of the Terriers will compete at the Boston Winter Open, which will take place Feb. 7-8 at Competition Pool.
