Asia Seidt Continues To Dominate NCSA Jr Nationals

After winning two individual events in record breaking time last night, Asia Seidt followed up performances with a few more podium finishes at the 2015 NCSA Jr National Championships in Indianapolis.

Seidt’s first event of the session was the women’s 200 freestyle. It was a close race but she was touched out at the wall by Kathryn Potz. Potz finished with a 2:01.69, just ahead of Seidt at 2:01.86. Siedt’s second event of the day was the women’s 200 butterfly. For the third time this weekend, she finished first with a final time of 2:13.36.

On the men’s side, Charles Swanson and Carsten Vissering ran away from the field to win their respective events. Swanson won the men’s 400 IM by almost five seconds with a 4:20.79 and Vissering won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:00.96. Vissering’s breaststroke time was the third fastest 17-18 100 breaststroke in history, although it was just off of his 1:00.86 from prelims.
