Just two meets into Anthony Ervin’s quest for World Cup glory, he’s already approaching his goal to raise $10,000 to support his pro swimming. As of this posting, he has hit $8,825 and given away exactly 125 rewards to his fans in exchange for their contributions.
Once Ervin hits $10,000, recall that 50% of everything above that 10k barrier will be donated to Mamade, an organization that helps provide clean water to parts of the world where not having it is one of the major threats of epidemics.

The goal should come and go easily thanks to the support of Athlete Approved. Through a partnership with Pace Pal, they will match all donations up to a total of $1,000 toward Ervin’s funding.
This is what Athlete Approved is all about. They are in the business of making money, but their goals are even more noble than that. They are in the business of making money to support professional swimmers, which means that when they win, we all win, because we get to watch more swimmers do more things.
Run by Mike Bottom and Bobby Savulich, the owners are two guys who get swimming and get what’s going on in the economics of swimming, and they’re already pouring money back into the sport.
Thank you for the nice article SwimSwam! We are very close to our $1,000 goal!
