A 20-year-old swimming instructor in Sydney, Australia is charged with 31 counts of sex offenses. He’s accused of sexually abusing six girls between the ages of six and ten.

Maybe that’s why Franko Grgic’s (left) 14:56.55 in the long course mile was such and under-discussed swim from the past week.

W. NCAA Relay Analysis: Weitzeil Skips 800, Hansson Swims It

Cal saved Abbey Weitzeil for the other four relays, and an NC State scratch could speed up their 200 medley relay. Meanwhile USC will have to keep Louise Hansson off a different relay and Tennessee used Erika Brown only to miss scoring entirely.

Bacon Goes 1:51.7 200 BK, Grimm 53.4 BR At Day 2 Prelims of NCSAs

16-year-old Phoebe Bacon moved up to #8 all-time in the U.S. 15-16 age group, putting up a 1:51.79 in the 200 back. She’s liable to move up a little more tonight, just .05 behind Meghan Small for 7th, though the NAG record is way down at 1:48.30 from Regan Smith.

Race Videos From Day 1 of 2019 NCSA Spring Junior Championships

Arlington’s Torri Huske won a very close race in the 100 IM, besting two more junior stars by a few tenths. She was 54.20, beating Nation’s Capital’s Phoebe Bacon (54.34) by a tenth and Aquajet Isabelle Stadden (54.43) by two.
