University of Wisconsin sign nine for Class of 2014

“We feel really good about both the men’s and women’s incoming classes,” head coach Whitney L. Hite said. “Not necessarily big names, but I really believe each of these signees can come in and score in multiple events for us at the Big Ten meet and have an impact at the NCAA championships.”

Cochrane and Ware headline Aquatics Canada award winners

Swimmer Ryan Cochrane of Victoria, B.C., and diver Pamela Ware of Beloeil, Que., have been named Aquatics Canada’s male and female athletes of the year for 2013. The honours are part of Aquatics Canada’s annual awards, which recognize the outstanding performances and contributions to the sport of diving, swimming, synchronized swimming and water polo.

Denver Swimming and Diving Adds Nine to 2014-15 Signing Class

The University of Denver swimming and diving team added
nine athletes to its 2014-15 signing class, head coach Brian
Schrader announced on Monday. Five swimmers will join the women’s
squad, while four will join the men’s team.

Schiellerup, Nevalainen and Bilis set for European Championships

NC State swimming & diving team are set to begin the 2013 European Short Course Championships at the Jyske Bank BOXEN. Current Wolfpack freshmen Andreas Schiellerup and Lotta Nevalainen, along with sophomore Simonas Bilis will take part in the event. In addition, future Wolfpack swimmer Anton Ipsen will also take part in the competition.

Oakland adds 5 to Men’s Swimming Squad For 2014-15

Oakland swimming and diving head coach Pete Hovland announced today the signing of Andrew Binder, Ayrton Kasemets, Janne Markkanen, John Schihl and Seth Timmons to National Letters of Intent during the early signing period. All five student-athletes are committed to enroll at Oakland University and join the swimming and diving team for the 2014-15 season.
