East Carolina Edges Davidson at Cannon Pool

The East Carolina swimming and diving teams swept a dual meet with Davidson at Cannon Pool on the Davidson College campus Saturday. The men’s squad posted a 171.5-118.5 victory, while the women’s team claimed a 178-114 win.

WKU Swim and Dive tops Delta State

With 23 individual wins and all four relays bringing home a top time, the Western Kentucky University swimming and diving team opened the 2013-14 season with wins over Delta State. The women defeated the Lady Statesmen 195-90 while the Hilltoppers finished the meet with a 182.5-107.5 win over DSU.

Hour of Power Relay for Sarcoma Research Nov 12th

The 8th annual Hour of Power Relay for Sarcoma Research will take place on Tuesday November 12th, 2013 at 5 p.m. Eastern/4 p.m. Central or 5 p.m. Mountain/4 p.m. Pacific and your team can participate! This event is held in honor of Ted Mullin, a Carleton College swimmer who passed away in 2006 from sarcoma, a rare-soft tissue cancer.

“This was a great start to our season,” Head Coach Christopher Woodard said. “There’s plenty to evaluate, and we did miss some opportunities to put away BYU, but we made some progress this weekend. I’m really pleased with what the girls have done.”
