Western Kentucky University swimming and diving head coach Bruce Marchionda announced a title change on his coaching staff, as Brian Thomas is elevated to associate head coach after three years as WKU’s assistant coach.
Former Iowa Head Coach Glenn Patton Earns Hall of Fame Nod
Former University of Iowa men’s swimming coach Glenn Patton will be inducted into the Alfred State Athletics Hall of Fame tonight in Alfred, N.Y. The induction is the second for Patton, as he was named to the National Iowa Varsity Club Hall of Fame in 2009.

Olympic Champion Megan Jendrick Retires
Megan Jendrick, one of the United States’ most beloved Olympians, has officially retired. She won two gold medals at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney; in the 100 breaststroke and as a member of the women’s 4×100 medley relay. At the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing Jendrick netted a third Olympic medal, a silver.
