In his 34th season as the head coach of the Georgia Women’s swim team, Jack Bauerle has won 4 NCAA Titles, finished 2nd at NC’s 7 times (including the 3 out of the last 4 seasons, 22 top 10 finishes, and 9 SEC titles. This week they’ll try to make it #10.
In this interview with Garrett McCaffrey, Bauerle discusses some milestones from the 2012-13 dual meet season including his 200th win with the men’s team. McCaffrey asks about two of the Lady Bulldog seniors, Allison Schmitt and Megan Romano, and how he plans to take advantage of one last run with these superstars. Also, Coach Bauerle is pretty open about who he thinks have the best chances at SECs and NCAAs this year.
Coach jack is a great human before a coach. He has taught me many lessons that are very valuable in my current coaching. Great interview by Garrett. Go bulldogs!!!
Great Interview. Jack’s a great Coach who fields top women’s teams every year. He has a very good men’s team this year headed by several of the country’s best freshman. I expect both of his teams to compete extremely well over the next few years.
Great interview! It reminds me of this one time, but that’s for another time.
