Allison Ellstrom
Background
Allison was born and raise in Mankato, MN, and along with her love for swimming, she also enjoys everything to do with nature. Ellstrom spends a majority of her time dedicated to her studies, training for swimming, and the great outdoors.
High School
As a captain her senior year, Ellstrom was a part of the school record breaking 200 medley relay. She also competed in the section swimming championships for four years throughout her high school career. Ellstrom later went to compete for her hometown college at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
College
2012-2013
As a freshman competing in her first conference meet, Ellstrom lowered her personal records in her main events, the 50 and 100 freestyle.
2013-2014
Ellstrom was able to compete in the NSIC Conference meet in her specialty events, along with the 200 medley relay and 200 & 400 free relays.
2014-2015
At the NSISC Conference Championship meet, Allison competed in multiples events included the 50, 100, and 200 free and some relays. She was able to set a personal best in all three of those events for herself.
