Alyssa Marsh is a competitive swimmer who is well known for her sprint fly and free prowess. During her time at Duke, she set numerous school records individually and as a part of their relays. She is the daughter of 2016 Olympic head coach David Marsh.

2018-2019
Alyssa Marsh’s junior year saw best times galore. At the 2019 ACC Championships, she started things off by splitting a field best 22.37 (fly) in the 200 medley relay to help Duke finish 5th. She went on to place 4th in the 50 free (22.15, 22.07 prelims), 5th in the 100 fly (52.06), and 4th in the 100 back (52.16).
At the NCAA champs, individually she placed 11th in the 50 free (22.00) and 10th in the 100 fly (51.72). She also swam on Duke’s 12th place 200 free relay (21.38), 13th place 200 medley relay (22.16 fly, fastest split of the field), and 11th place 400 free relay (47.46).
2019-2020
Marsh had a great start to her senior year post-season. After splitting 22.0 in the 50 fly at the Duke-UNC dual, she repeated that feat at the ACC Champs, swimming 22.05 to help Duke to a 4th place finish.
