Caspar Corbeau is a competitive swimmer who has dual citizenship between the United States and the Netherlands.
High School
Corbeau was a multi-medalist at the European Jr Championships. In 2018 he won bronze in the 200 breast, while in 2019 he won silver in the 100 and 200 breast and bronze in the 50 breast. He also earned gold in the 200 breast and silver in the 100 breast at the 2017 European Youth Olympics.
Corbeau was ranked #6 on SwimSwam’s Top 20 NCAA Recruits for the Class of 2019, and #4 in the Re-rank of that class. On January 15, 2018, Corbeau announced his verbal commitment to swim for Texas.
College (Texas)
Corbeau continued his progress during his first semester in Austin. At the mid-season Minnesota Invite, he recorded career best times in the 100 (51.46) and 200 breast (1:52.06).
At his first Big 12 Championships, Corbeau took titles in the 100 (52.55) and 200 breast (1:53.55). He also took 3rd in the 200 IM (1:45.43) and swam on the winning 200 medley relay.
