Chen Jie is a competitive swimmer who represents China internationally. 

2016 Olympic Games

At the 2016 Olympics, Jie swam the 200 backstroke, where she placed 27th in a time of 2:14.18.

2017 World Championships

In Budapest, Jie swam the 100 back, where she qualified for semi finals and placed 9th (59.85) overall, just outside of making the final heat. She also swam the 200 back, where she placed 18th in prelims with a time of 2:11.88.

2018 Asian Games

In Jakarta, Jie won her first international medal by earning bronze in the 100 back (1:00.28). She also swam on the 4×100 medley relay, but it was ultimately disqualified in the final heat.
