Cory Loria
Cory Loria is a six-foot-two sophomore at the University of Texas. As a second-year Longhorn, Loria has made his mark on the team as a mid-distance specialist, specializing in the 1,650, 200 and 500 freestyle events. A true Texan, Loria is from Mansfield where he attended Mansfield High School.

2013-2014
Loria focused on the Texas Invite his freshman year, finishing 20th overall in the 1,650, 39th in the 200 freestyle, and also came in third in the ‘D’ final of the 500 freestyle.
National Competition
At Mansfield High Loria was a 2012-2013 NISCA All-American in the 200 and 500 freestyle.
Last summer Loria made a statement at the Speedo Champion Series sectional meet in Shenandoah. He won the distance title in the 800m freestyle, dropping more than 10 seconds to do so.
