Coming out of high school, Delaney Duncan was a 4-time state finalist and All-State selection as a senior.

2015-2016
As a freshman, Delaney Duncan won the 100 breast in a school, meet and conference record 59.46 at the MAC Championships. She also swam the second leg of the MAC title winning 400 medley relay, which set a school record (3:37.17) and tied for fourth in the 200 breast (2:15.36).
Duncan was the first freshman in school history to qualify for NCAA Championships, competing in the 100 breast and earning Honorable Mention All-America honors.
2016-2017
Duncan successfully defended her 100 breast title at the MAC Championships, and added a 4th-place finish in the 200 breast and a 29th place effort in the 50 free at the conference meet.
Duncan once again competed in the 100 breast (29th) and 200 breast (61st) at the NCAA Championships.
2017-2018
Duncan three-peated in the 100 breast (58.36) at the MAC Championships and was runnerup in the 200 breast (2:08.80), notching school records in both events. She also finished 9th in the 200 IM.
Duncan placed 4th nationally in the 100 breast (58.36) and 14th in the 200 breast at the NCAA Championships.
2018-2019
Duncan successfully defended her 100 breast MAC title for the fourth consecutive year, setting a school, pool and conference championship record in the process. She captured the 200 breast title at the conference meet with a career-best and MAC Championships best 2:07.38, and finished fifth in the 200 IM as well (1:59.45).
Duncan finished her NCAA career on a high, becoming the national runnerup in the 100 breast (57.83) at the NCAA Championships, recording the 10th fastest effort in American SCY history. She also placed 19th in the 200 breast (2:09.04) and 58th in the 200 IM (2:00.65).
