Hayes Burdette-Sapp

Hayes can be easily recognized by his size, coming in at 6’10”. It is no surprise that he, in addition to swimming, played basketball in high school. He was a three-year swimmer for Lakeside High School, serving as the team’s captain during his senior year. He helped his team to first-place finishes in the county in 2010 and 2011. Hayes will be attending the business school at Emory.

2014-2015

Hayes again performed some impressive in-season swims for Emory men, and tapered for UAAs. He placed 5th in the 200 free(1:41.26) and 8th in the 100 free(46.05). He also swam the 50 free in a 20.86. Along with these solid performances, Hayes amazed in the relays, out splitting most of the swimmers at the meet. He went to NCAAs because of those splits and swam relays there.

2013-2014

Hayes helped Emory with his solid in-season swims, but really stood out at UAAs. He placed 2nd in the 100 free(45.99) and 9th in the 200 free(1:42.37). He also swam the 50 free in a 21.55.
