2016-17
At his first SEC Championships, Itay Goldfaden finished 14th in the 100 breast (53.32), 26th in the 200 breast (2:01.14) and 46th in the 50 free (20.73).
2017-18
Goldfaden made strides in his sophomore season, and finished 4th in the 100 breast (52.44), 29th in the 200 breast (1:59.76) and 49th in the 50 free (20.85) at the SEC Championships.
At his first NCAA Championships, he placed 11th in the 100 breast (52.36) and 43rd in the 200 breast (1:57.88).
2018-19
Goldfaden had his best season yet with the gamecocks in his junior year. He won the SEC title in the 100 breast (51.72) and placed 32nd in the 200 breast (2:00.43) and 44th in the 50 free (20.52), and was a member of the Gamecocks’ 7th place 200 medley relay and 8th place 400 medley relay.
At the NCAA Championships, Goldfaden finished 16th in the 100 breast (52.54) and was part of South Carolina’s 26th place 200 medley relay.
