Jacob Laser
Jacob is in his sophomore year on Mayflower Hill. He is a pure freestyler and is able to swim both the sprint and distance events. On campus, he is an active contributor to Colby Open Mike Night at the Coffee house.

2013-2014
In his first season, Jacob embraced distance swimming for the first time and achieved program top-20 records in the 500 and 1000 free. He was a key member of several of the team’s relays at the NESCAC Championships and swam a number of career bests.
2014-2015
Jacob really came into his own as a sophomore. He focused his attention to middle and distance freestyler and was the leading scorer in distance events for the dual meet season. At NESCAC Championships, he was a member of the Mules’ 200 and 400 medley relays.
Personal
Jacob is an aspiring comedian. He regularly performs on campus and keeps the crowd engaged with his off-beat observations. He is also an accomplished whittler, creating some impressive totems on the beach in Puerto Rico during a break at winter training.
