John Devine
John comes to Mayflower Hill after leading Cheverus High School to its 2nd Class A Maine State Championship title as a team captain. He has become one of the Aquamules’ top breaststrokers and sprint freestylers.
Colby College Swimming and Diving
2014-2015
John was an immediate contributor as a freshman. In the dual meet schedule, he was a key scorer and posted top-20 program records in the 50, 100, and 200 breast. At NESCAC Championships, he was a member of two school record breaking relays and swam career bests in his individual events.
Personal
John is a dedicated consumer of food. He currently holds the Dana Dining Hall record for hamburger eating having devoured seven of Dana’s burgers in one sitting. He is a passionate music fan and truly enjoys the entirety of the Beatles catalog.
