John Galvin
John was a four-year letter winner for the St. Xavier High School swim team, serving as the team captain his senior year. He helped his team to state and district titles all four years. He also was a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society in high school. His father played baseball at Virginia Tech for two years.

2014-2015
Like usual, John’s tapered season started with the Miami Invite where he placed 4th in the 200 fly and 14th in the 400 IM. At UAAs, John won the 200 fly(1:50.47) and placed 15th in the 100 fly(50.94). he also swam the 200 IM in a time of 1:55.02. John was right off the invite time in the 200 fly for NCAAs.
2013-2014
John again traveled to Ohio for the Miami Invite where he placed 10th in the 200 fly and 16th in the 400 IM. At UAAs, John swam season bests and placed 4th in the 200 fly and 5th in the 400 IM. At NCAAs, John swam right around his personal best times and placed 23rd in the 200 fly(1:51.34) and 26th in the 400 IM(4:03.71).
2012-2013
John swam at the Miami Invite, where he dropped time in all of the events he swam. He placed 7th in the 200 fly and 12th in the 100 fly. At UAAs, John dropped a significant amount of time in his best events. He placed 2nd in the 400 IM(4:03.40) and 4th in the 200 fly(1:1.35). He also swam the 200 IM in a 1:53.40 and placed 6th.
