2016-2017

Iga was an immediate impact athlete for the wildcats, scoring at the PAC-12 Champs in the 100 free (6th, 43.08), 50 free (T-14th, 19.90), and 200 free (10th, 1:35.23). He also earned All-American honorable mentions by swimming on Zona’s 400 free and medley relays at the NCAA Champs.

2017-2018

Iga was once again clutch for Arizona, aiding 3 of their relays to All-America honorable mentions (400 free, 800 free, and 400 medley) at the NCAA championships. He held team best times in both the 100 (42.77) and 200 free (1:34.81).

2018-2019

Iga had his best season yet as a junior for the wildcats. He earned All-America honorable mentions in the 200, 400, and 800 free relays, as well as the 200 and 400 medley relays. He also earned his 1st individual All-America honorable mention by placing 13th in the 200 free (1:33.05) after going a lifetime-best of 1:32.53 in prelims.

International Competition

2019 Pan American Games (Lima, Peru)

Iga finished fifth in the 200 free (1:48.18) and was second in the B final of the 100 free (50.00).

Iga was part of Mexico’s bronze medal men’s 4×100 free relay and 4×200 free relay teams as well as the mixed 4×100 free relay team. He also was a member of Mexico’s fourth place men’s 4×100 medley and mixed medley relays.
