Kaersten Meitz is a competitive swimmer who represents the United States internationally.
College (Purdue)
2014-15
Meitz was 22nd in the 500 free (4:42.39), 34th in the 1650 free (16:26.59) and 45th in the 200 free (1:47.38) at the NCAA Championships.
Meitz was 10th in the 500 free (4:42.11), 11th in the 1650 free (16:13.83) and 19th in the 200 free (1:48.20) at the Big Ten Championships.
2015-16
Meitz finished 14th in the 500 free (4:40.87), 30th in the 1650 free (16:17.24) and 47th in the 200 free (1:47.17) at the NCAA Championships. She also was a member of Purdue’s 17th place 800 free relay.
Meitz was fourth in the 500 free (4:39.75), fifth in the 1650 free (16:04.04) and 14th in the 200 free (1:47.25) at the Big Ten Championships. She also was part of the bronze medal 800 free relay, sixth place 400 medley relay and 11th place 200 free relay
2016-17
Meitz finished 13th in the 500 free (4:39.94), 18th in the 1650 free (16:03.48) and 27th in the 200 free (1:45.82) at the NCAA Championships.
At the Big Ten Championships, Meitz won bronze in the 500 free (4:37.45) and placed seventh in the 200 free (1:46.09) and 11th in the 1650 free (16:10.41). She also was a member of Purdue’s fifth place 200 free relay, sixth place 400 medley relay and 400 free relay and eighth place 800 free relay teams.
2017-18
Meitz finished fifth in the 500 free (4:36.83) and 10th in the 1650 free (15:55.25) at the NCAA Championships. She also was a member of Purdue’s 21st place 800 free relay.
Meitz was the runnerup in the 500 free (4:37.15) and finished sixth in the 200 free (1:45.77) and seventh in the 1650 free (16:02.02) at the Big Ten Championships. She was part of Purdue’s sixth place 400 medley relay, seventh place 800 free relay and eighth place 400 free relay teams.
Meitz graduated in 2018 as Purdue’s record holder in the 500 free (4:35.82), 1,000 free (9:38.46) and 1,650 free (15:54.41). She was also a member of the school’s record 400 medley relay team in 2018.

2019 World University Games (Napoli, Italy)
Meitz won the gold medal in the 400 free (4:05.80) at the 2019 World University Games in Napoli, Italy. She also was part of the USA’s gold medal 800 free relay team.
