2016-17
Drabot grabbed All-America honors in the 200 freestyle and 500 free at the 2017 NCAA Championships, finishing 14th in each race. She also was a member of the Pac-12 champion 800 freestyle relay team, which set a then-NCAA and American record of 6:49.42). Drabot was the runnerup in the 500 free (4:35.69) at the Pac-12 Championships, while also scoring in the 200 free (5th) and 100 free (12th).
2017-18
Drabot was a two-time NCAA champion as part of the Stanford 400 free relay and 800 free relay teams. She earned five All-America honors in 2018, adding runnerup finishes in the 500 free and 200 fly and a fourth-place effort in the 200 free to her relay success. Drabot scored at the Pac-12 Championships in the 200 IM (5th), 200 freestyle (4th) and 800 free relay (2nd). She earned CSCAA Scholar All-America and Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention accolades.
2018-19
Drabot won an NCAA title with the Cardinal 800 freestyle relay and was a member of the school’s eighth place 400 medley relay.
National/International Competition
2018 U.S. National Championships
Drabot was the runnerup in the 200 butterfly (2:07.18) at the Phillips 66 National Championships, finishing a second behind Hali Flickinger. She also competed in the 400 freestyle (10th, 4:08.96), 200 freestyle (12th, 1:58.34), and the 100 butterfly (19th, 59.47).
2018 Pan Pacific Championships
In her first major international meet, Katie Drabot medaled in her first individual event, touching for 3rd at 2:08.40 in the 200 fly.
2019 World Championships
In her lone event in Gwangju, Drabot earned her first worlds medal, touching for bronze in a time of 2:07.04.
