Kylie Gaeth
Background
Born in 1996, Kylie had a passion for swimming at a young age. Gaeth attended Monticello High School and was a stand out athlete in not only swimming, but track & field and weightlifting. Kylie would later attend Minnesota State University, Mankato, and become a member of the women’s swimming and diving team there.
High School
Kylie was a four time letter winner and two time all conference swimmer in high school. She was the section champion in the 100 fly her senior year, which lead to a 10th place finish at Class A State meet. Gaeth was also a part of the 200 medley relay that took 16th as the same meet. Kylie is the Monticello school record holder in the 100 fly (58.85) and the 400 free relay. She was coached by Kristen Zalec and was a member of the 10 time all
College
2014-2015
As a freshman, Kylie placed 4th at NSISC Conference in the 100 fly, 11th in the 50 free, and 19th in the 100 free, all with personal bests. Kylie was also a part in the 2nd placing 400 free relay at the conference championships. She was also part of the national qualifying 200 free relay team. This relay was later invited to 2015 Division II National Swimming Championships.
